These terms govern your use of Kindred — the school safety, communication, and learning platform. By signing in, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app and let your school know.
Use Kindred to stay informed about your child, communicate respectfully with the school, and keep your child safe. Anything else — including reverse-engineering the app, scraping data, attempting to access another user's account, or any unlawful use — is prohibited.
Messages, voice notes, behaviour notes, and other content you write or upload remain yours. By posting them, you grant the school and Kindred the right to store and display them to the intended recipients (the parent, the teacher, school admin) for the purpose of running the platform. We don't republish your content or use it for any other purpose.
Attendance, marks, homework, behaviour notes, bus tracking, and school events are entered or generated by your school. The school is the source of truth — please raise corrections with them first.
We aim for the app to be reliable but we don't promise 100% uptime. Brief outages and maintenance windows can happen. For emergencies, contact your school directly; do not rely solely on the app.
Your school pays Kindred. Parents are not directly billed by us. If pricing changes, the school will communicate it to you.
Kindred provides information shared by your school. We don't supervise your child, we don't drive the bus, and we don't replace your school's safety procedures. To the extent allowed by law, Kindred is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.
You can stop using Kindred at any time. The school can disable your account if you violate these terms or if your child is no longer enrolled. We honour data deletion requests as described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app and by SMS before they take effect.
